Acceptance Testing is the process of evaluating a system or component to determine whether it meets the specified requirements and is ready for delivery to the end user or client.
Expertise Level
Level 1
Basic
1. Understands the purpose and basic concepts of acceptance testing.
2. Can assist in executing predefined acceptance test cases.
3. Recognizes key requirements that need to be validated.
Level 2
Intermediate
1. Can design and document acceptance test cases based on user requirements.
2. Able to coordinate and perform acceptance testing with stakeholders.
3. Identifies discrepancies between system behavior and requirements.
Level 3
Advanced
1. Leads the acceptance testing process ensuring thorough validation of all requirements.
2. Develops complex acceptance test strategies including automation where applicable.
3. Analyzes and reports test results to guide go/no-go decisions for product release.
