The process of verifying and ensuring that an aircraft meets all required safety and regulatory standards to operate safely in the air.
Expertise Level
Level 1
Basic
1. Understands basic airworthiness regulations and standards.
2. Familiar with documentation required for certification.

Intermediate
1. Can evaluate aircraft components and systems against certification standards.
