ATP (Advanced Threat Protection) refers to security solutions designed to detect, prevent, and respond to sophisticated cyber threats targeting computer systems and networks.
Expertise Level
Level 1
Basic
1. Understands the basic concept of ATP and its purpose in cybersecurity.
2. Can recognize common types of cyber threats and malware.
3. Familiar with basic use of ATP tools for threat detection.
Level 2
Intermediate
1. Can configure and manage ATP solutions in common environments.
2. Able to analyze ATP alerts and perform basic threat investigations.
3. Understands integration of ATP with other security tools.
Level 3
Advanced
1. Designs and implements advanced ATP strategies tailored to organizational needs.
2. Expert in hunting, detecting, and mitigating sophisticated threats using ATP tools.
3. Ability to integrate ATP data with SIEM and coordinate incident response.
