Definition
Fatigue Analysis (การวิเคราะห์ความเมื่อยล้า) Hard Skill
Fatigue analysis is the process of evaluating the durability of materials and structures under cyclic loading to predict their lifespan and prevent failure due to material fatigue.
Expertise Level
Level 1
Basic
1. Understands the fundamental concepts of material fatigue and cyclic loading.
2. Can identify common fatigue-related failure modes in simple components.
3. Familiar with basic terminology used in fatigue analysis.
Level 2
Intermediate
1. Can perform fatigue life calculations using standard methods and formulas.
2. Able to analyze stress-life (S-N) and strain-life (ε-N) fatigue data for components.
3. Uses software tools to model and simulate fatigue behavior under various loading conditions.
Level 3
Advanced
1. Conducts complex fatigue analyses integrating material behavior, environmental factors, and variable loading.
2. Develops and validates fatigue life prediction models for complex structures.
3. Leads fatigue testing programs and interprets results to improve design and safety.
