First Aid (การปฐมพยาบาล) Hard Skill
The immediate assistance provided to a person suffering from injury or illness to prevent further harm before professional medical help is available.
Expertise Level
Level 1
Basic
1. Knows how to call for emergency help appropriately.
2. Can perform basic wound cleaning and dressing.
3. Understands how to treat minor injuries such as cuts and bruises.
Level 2
Intermediate
1. Can perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on adults.
2. Able to manage choking emergencies effectively.
3. Understands how to immobilize fractures and handle sprains.
Level 3
Advanced
1. Can perform advanced life support techniques including use of automated external defibrillator (AED).
2. Able to assess and prioritize multiple injuries in emergency situations.
3. Provides first aid care tailored to various medical emergencies such as burns, poisoning, or shock.
