HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study) is a structured and systematic technique used to identify potential hazards and operability problems in processes, primarily within industrial settings, to enhance safety and efficiency.

Basic
1. Understands the basic concepts and purpose of HAZOP studies.
2. Familiar with common terminology used in HAZOP processes.
3. Participates in HAZOP sessions as an observer or note-taker.
Level 2
Intermediate
1. Can identify potential hazards and deviations in process design.
2. Participates actively in HAZOP sessions by contributing observations and suggestions.
3. Understands the methodology for analyzing causes and consequences of hazards.

1. Leads HAZOP studies and facilitates team discussions effectively.
