Quality Improvement is the systematic approach to enhancing processes, products, or services to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction by identifying and eliminating causes of defects or problems.
Expertise Level
Level 1
Basic
1. Understands basic concepts of quality and quality improvement.
2. Can identify common defects or issues in processes or products.
3. Participates in simple quality improvement tasks under supervision.
Level 2
Intermediate
1. Can analyze processes to identify areas for quality improvement.
2. Applies standard quality improvement tools such as root cause analysis and PDCA cycle.
3. Leads or supports quality improvement projects with measurable goals.
Level 3
Advanced
1. Designs and implements organization-wide quality improvement initiatives.
2. Utilizes advanced data analysis to drive continuous quality improvements.
