Web Standards refer to the formal guidelines and best practices established to ensure websites are accessible, compatible, and efficient across different browsers and devices.
Expertise Level
Level 1
Basic
1. Understands the importance of web standards in website development.
2. Familiar with basic HTML5 and CSS3 syntax and structure.
3. Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues.
Level 2
Intermediate
1. Implements semantic HTML to improve accessibility and SEO.
2. Ensures web pages comply with W3C standards.
3. Uses CSS and JavaScript following best practices for maintainability.

Advanced
1. Designs and develops websites with full adherence to accessibility (WCAG) and performance standards.
