The ability to effectively respond to unexpected or emergency situations by assessing risks, coordinating actions, and managing resources to minimize negative impact.
Expertise Level
Level 1
Basic
1. Recognizes signs of a critical incident and notifies appropriate personnel.
2. Follows established protocols for initial incident response.
3. Maintains calm and communicates clearly under pressure.
Level 2
Intermediate
1. Assesses the scope and impact of incidents to prioritize response actions.
2. Coordinates with team members and external stakeholders during incident management.
3. Implements contingency plans and adapts strategies as situations evolve.
Level 3
Advanced
1. Leads incident response teams to effectively resolve complex and high-impact situations.
2. Develops and refines response protocols based on lessons learned.
3. Conducts post-incident analysis to improve future preparedness and resilience.
